. I wonder why they don't produce
Transparent mobiles, I'am sure they have all the tech for that.

Note!
Cpu activity generally can not be represented in a graphical way as i did above , It can only be represented in such graph
only when the cpu usage is constant in which case it should be a straight line graph, this implies the cpu graph on the
skin is'nt real but how ever it displays the correct amount of cpu used if you consider the X-axis

I have the ini completely revised, and now you changed anything with the help of Variables

the upper bar

top left is an invisible drop menu display

the cube in the upper bar

all dice now have a tool tip info display

the first cube is to open the trash

with the second cube you can the contents of the trash delete immediately and if you go with the mouse over the trash you see the total content

the third is a cube for on and off the dl upload display

the red x is display for your wlan connection

the under bar

with the first cube you open the windows start menu

the second cube is for the drop menu

with the third dice their hidde the windows task bar

then the dice come for computer music download volume control and shutdown

and I added a gmail display with which you can see right away if you get an e mail

the lower takbar is available in two versions one with music player for winamp

and once with now playing support

I have inserted in the lower and upper bar nor a taskbar when you click on it there you can see all your open windows and programs

Hello! I finally finished with my first semester in college and now have free time! So now I've been really inspired with the Android Wear project. This is my idea: how about something as small as the smartwatch and putting it on your desktops? This is 360, an all-in-one widget in a smartwatch-like interface (mostly good for music, haha!)

It's very customizable, so much that whatever combination you do on it would look good!

Your thoughts and ideas are greatly requested! I also want to know if fonts display correctly on your computer -- if possible, send me a screenshot of how it looks like on your computer so that I'd know if it looks the same

A little warning: the comic deals with the sexual themes and contains some nudity (well, Roomie is dressed only rarely) but it does so in very kind and warm way, it is not outrageous and definitely not porn. It is about "the wild adventures of an upbeat hippie" (as Chloe says), love, dreams, life and beer

So here it is... Actually, it all started with simple dice skin but I simply couldn't stop there, could I?

Update 1.1. - 14.3.2014:
I have just found a little mistake there in the Dice skin. In the Measures section in [D10] measure, there was IfAboceAction... instead of IfAboveAction.... So if you rolled 10 on d10, the text ("I just rolled ...") would freeze and wouldn't show your other rolls with d10. So it has been fixed. You can download a new version or just simply change the single letter in the dice.ini.

Features
- Full suite for 1366x768 screen with included background. (There is also included a background for 1920x1080 screen but there aren't bigger versions of the skins and I will not make them. There is too much of graphic work... unless somebody grants me a bigger monitor

)
- All that essential stuff like CPU, RAM used drive space (for two or three disks and two more external drives), network traffic, battery energy level (health bar ;) (Wink)

), media player (with easy switch between all supported media players), trashbin control, info about your PC (it's name and type), OS, current time, date and how long has your PC been turned on.
- There is also "control" area for basic Windows functions (Shutdown, restart, logoff, lock PC, open Start menu) and Launcher for opening the Documents folder, your favourite internet browser (you can chose from the top 5) and five programs of your choice. Just click on the "change" on the propper line, enter name and find your desired program. Of course, there is an e-mail notification for both the e-mail client in your PC (like Thunderbird) and your g-mail account. Simply click the "change email" od "edit login" and set your addres or login and password (it is the google pass for the third side party software).
- The weather skin is there too, all you have to do is to click the little sun, go to the www.weather.com, find your weather location code (just put there your place to search and you will wind the code at the end of the address just before the colon, something like EZXX5195) and set your temperature unit.
- It also contains your quest notes and the latest news from the world (provided by Google) in 12 languages.
- It shows your windows user account icon in the coat of arms, lets you chose your race from 7 basic fantasy races (sex) and one of 10 classe and shows an image of your hero... Or of a usual representative of that race and sex

- You can open your Rainmeter mannager by clicking the Rainmeter in the top left corner.
- You can change the colour of the text by clicking the pencil and chosing another crayon.
- And lust but not least... no, wait, LAST but not least, brand new fully sounded set of rolling dice in 8 possible colours. The dicebag contains all usual dice; d4, d6, set of 2 d6, d8, d10, d% (two d10 one of which has tens), d12 and d20 and one seriously broken die, with "special" effect for natural 20 and fatal failure on d% (00 roll). Let me know if there are other dice required

By the way, the sound is my own record of the two my favourite 6 sided dice rolled on a rulebook - one is iron, the other is jade - so it is very DnD-authentic

Requirements:
All you need is the latest Rainmeter installed (I use 3.0.2 verision), which you can get here - rainmeter.net/cms/
And this theme downloaded and installed in the Rainmeter; it should load automatically and let you chose the background size.
Also, it looks better, if you let your task bar hide

All the graphic is of my own creation so it is available for another non commertial use. The logo of Heroes and Dragons is also my own; I have chosen there aren't any troubles with DnD or Pathfinder copyrights... Then I have found that there is a great store with the same name, so I hope they don't mind

Issues and questions:
- Of course, there will be some issues and bugs, so feel free to ask or something (please, don't throw stones on me). However, some questions might be answere on my Discovery theme, so you might want to look there too.
- Your Windows version can affect some functions... This was done for Win7 (my system) and thus some functions might not work properly. I can think now about user account picture (for solution look to discussion to my answer to StabeBabe), volume control on the player (which might work also on W8 but I am not sure about that) and "Open documents" spell in the Launcher area (look at the proper command for your Windows version at docs.rainmeter.net/tips/launch… ).
- Internet browser: If you have your internet browser installed somewhere else than the default folder, go to the Resources folder (Documents/Rainmeter/Skins/Heroes) and there open the browsers.ini. In it find your browser and where there is i.e. [!WriteKeyValue Variables browserlocation "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "#@#variables.inc"] change the path to your path to the browser. Skyrim Desktop - a Rainmeter to control and monitor your Windows!

The skin includes:

- Top dock that can be activated by moving the mouse to the top left corner when desktop is not showing

- Left side bar, a launcher for 5 x 15 applications, and switches mode for bottom bar

- Bottom bar that can be either system monitoring, weather forecast or media control

- Config utility: set your media player, weather location and units, drives you want to monitor, as well as the application categories for the launcher, and the applications themselves; you can just browse for a file to add it to the launcher!

You might have to install the Trajan fonts located in the resources\Fonts folder of the skin manually

How the skin works:

- Top dock in the middle lets you access the sidebar (Start), or turn it off. It also lets you access the system tray, and switch between running applications.

- The config on the top dock lets you configure the launcher's categories, and its applications - 5 x 15 programs. It also lets you configure what media player to use, your weather code and weather units.

- Sidebar launches your programs, or the user's files (documents, etc). It also switches the modes for the bottom bar, or turn it off in case you don't need it.

- Bottom bar has 3 modes. A system monitoring mode, with HDD / RAM / CPU usage, but you can extend it to show the top demanding process, your ping to a given server and system uptime. The second mode is a media controller, with album art, seeking in track, volume control and play/pause/next/prev playback control. The third is a weather display, that can be minimized / extended into 4 days forecast.

- The little transparent Skyrim icon stay on top of open windows, gets almost fully transparent on mouseover, and most importantly when fullscreen, it sets the middle dock in top of other windows unless you move your cursor further away from the dock. By getting it on top though, you can use the left side launcher without interrupting your current work session. After either launching an app with the left side launcher, or dismissing the dock though it's set back to normal (desktop) position.

What next:

I'm planning on making a matching visual style after the final release of the skin, with a simplistic manner, but this time a light one - the frames dark, but the main part of the windows will be light gray (reverse of the original).

It will be a visual style for everyday easy use.

First of all, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

- In order to use this skin suite, you need at least Rainmeter 3.0.2 r2161 (October 2013) or above.

- This suite is intende ]]> <![CDATA[ d for use on Windows 7/8 or at least Vista, some skins may not work with previous OS, for example the Volume and Sys Launchers skins won't work in Windows XP, for the last one there's an alternative skin.
The text also is displayed differently if you're using Windows XP or Vista, since D ]]> <![CDATA[ 2D font rendering is available only for Windows 7/8.

- This suite is optimized for Wi-Fi connection, expecially for Feeds and monitors, if you're not using a Wi-Fi connection some of the graphics and bars are disabled in WiFi and Connections skins.
If you're always connected, those skins are updated regularly (depending on the settings and the skin, every 20-30 minutes), if you're connected only for some time, those skins will retain the last informations downloaded,
until you're connected to the internet again. Refresh those skins to update or synchronize the download of the informations.

- If you are using other skins and you don't want to lose your configuration, save your actual Layout: -> Manage Rainmeter -> Layouts, give it a name and save.

- At the moment, this skin suite is optimized only for the dimension of 1920 x 1080, if you have another screen size, you have to manually position the skins, many of them are customizable, as the launchers,
you can change the number as needed in the Options skin.

- To avoid any unwanted movement of the skins using the mouse, after positioning them and as a general suggestion, make them not draggable and save your new Layout to restore all as was before any undesired movement.

- If you want to monitor the CPU, GPU and Disk temperature, the CPU and System fan speed (Sys Monitor skin) you need Speedfan here, but not all motherboards are supported,
please verify.

- Every skin is available in three colors, Orange, Red and Blue, use middle mouse button to change them.

- If you're connected to the internet during the skin setup, PLEASE CONFIGURE RSS FEEDS and WEATHER LOCATION AS LAST OPTIONS, for every modification there's a "Refresh" of the entire suite!
Every option need a refresh, they're many and you can be blocked or banned from the sites for the high number of request sent in a little time.

- Below, a small explanation of every skin, when you manage skins, you will find informations with all the caracteristics, many other infos are in the Options skin, they're tooltip and they will appear with mouse hover.

- SHIELD TAG 2    - some visual changes from the original, now displays your Name/Nickname and other, left mouse click on the round image on the left will open My Documents folder, as the original.
      As a bonus, there's a second version, called "Shield Tag2_Anim", the difference is that with mouse hover the round image will enable an animation, moving the mouse away will stop and reset it.
      You can add and edit the text for User name and Other info, all directly in the Options skin (section Other).

- OPTIONS 10 - here you can configure almost all, subdivided in six pages (General, Large Launchers, Small Launchers, Small Launchers 2, Folders and Other, the configuration may vary), you can change Media
   Player, the Language (for now only English, Italian, French and German, not really satisfied with the last two, if you want to contribute...), Wi-Fi with Max speed limit for Upload and
   Download and the option to enable/disable the counter for the total time used, to enable/disable in 12/24 Hour Clock the number disks from one up to five, set disk letter and three USB devices
   (USB memory stick), configure links for Website Launchers (Time skin) and for RSS FEED reader, with the possibility, since it will display four pages in rotation, how long a page is displayed
(in seconds), set application Path and Name displayed, choose from executable, files or folders, enable/disable the first launcher of Large Launchers and choose to enable/disable from five up
to nine Launchers in Small Launchers 9, depending on the configuration you'll use, customize the folder links and the eight new links in Folder 1 and 7 in the Time skin, set Name ond Other info
in Shield Tag, configure Weather skin, Speedfan sensor numbers and visual alert settings for CPU, GPU, Hard Disks, CPU and SYS fans.
Since is very difficult to obtain a good and stable GPU fan measure in some systems and it will require additional plugins, I have excluded it for the moment, seeking for a better solution.
When you load a different Time skin, it will change automatically to match the Time configuration.
IMPORTANT: if you have LESS than FOUR CPU Cores (and sensors), please fill all the sensor numbers, repeat them many times, if you have MORE than FOUR CPU Cores, add only the four needed.

- SMALL LAUNCHERS 9 - from five up to nine launchers for programs, files and/or folders, mouse hover will move down the selected launcher, left mouse click to launch a program, customizable in the Options skin.

- DATE 2 - little visual changes from the original, the month and days are automatically translated changing language in the Options skin (General section).

- CALENDAR - a simple calendar, with year indication, starting with Monday, the current day is highlighted, depending to the first day of the month, the last days of past month and/or the first days
   of the next month are displayed, left mouse button on "CALENDAR" to hide and/or unhide the skin. The days are automatically translated changing language in Options skin (General section).

- WEATHER - to show the weather forecast for the next three days, the actual and today/tonight weather conditions, with temperature, humidity, UV Index, probability of rain, current and today/tonight wind
speed and direction, for the last two, they will only appear if there's a rain probability or when there's some wind. Mouse hover the today/tonight wind icon to show wind speed as a tooltip.
Left mouse click on WEATHER title to open Weather.com site in the browser, mouse hover the city name to display other infos (latitude. longitude, current pressure and pressure tendency).
All customizable in the Options skin (Other section). As said above, be very careful if you try changes when you're connected to the internet.

- 12/24 HOUR CLOCK - depending on the skin variant choosen, you have the original 12 or 24 hours skin with one disk indicator, or the new 12 or 24 hours with up to five Hard Disk indicators (visual and numerical),
(TIME) three USB indicators (as the Hard Disk ones but smaller) that will appear when a USB Pen/Disk is connected to the computer, clicking on the letter will open the corresponding disk/USB folder,
mouse hover on the percentual of disk used will show a tooltip with used, free and total disk space. Some modifications to the original web launchers. The seconds bar is clockwise and the hour
bar counts 24 hours (except the original and 12 hours versions).
You can also choose from the standard 7 folder launchers or the new system, clicking on folders 1 and 7 you have 8 new links each, in this case, you can also choose how folders 1 and 7 will
be displayed: "Enable close at launch" closes automatically with left mouse click on a link, "Disable close at launch" stays as is, you must close them manually and in this case you can opt if
have one or both launchers always opened or closed, when you close or restart the skin, Rainmeter or the computer, it will remember the last configuration.
Everything is settable in the Options skin (General, Hard Disks and Folders sections).The folder 1 and 7 open/close option is directly available in the folder's skin (little rectangle on top).

- VOLUME 2 - some little visual changes from the original, now is possible to change volume simply rotating the mouse wheel up or down, with mouse hover. Added Mute function and button (in the middle).
To restore the volume you can click the Mute button again, click on "+" or rotate the mouse wheel up.

- MUSIC PLAYER 2 - some little visual changes from the original, now, as the volume skin, it's possible to change volume, with mouse hover, simply rotating the mouse wheel up or down.
The power button now opens and closes the player, so, launch the player, choose one playlist, minimize the player and forget about it.
Added track info, in addition to Artist name, now is also displayed in order Album name and Year of production.

- NOTES - four pages, three "big" notes in first and second page, six notes in third and fourth page, eighteen in total, left mouse click on NOTE text or on the button below, to hide and show the skin
Here you can write all what you want, left mouse click on the rectangle to write or edit the text, hit Enter to save, fill with spaces to create a new line, you can write a long text but only
the text contained in the note dimension is visible. When you close or restart the skin, Rainmeter or the computer, it will remember the last page selected.
When you start Rainmeter or refresh the skin, the notes will appear. Middle mouse button on the note to highlight it in three colors plus neutral, every note can have a different color.

- FEEDS - four pages to display RSS, RDF, ATOM, OPML messages, left mouse click on Title to open the web page, mouse hover a feed to show the text as tooltip and depending the feeds type, it will also
show the time/date of the last update or when posted. Left mouse click on a feed to open the corresponding forum/site article in the browser. The feed links are customizable in the Options skin
(General section).
When you start Rainmeter or refresh the skin, the Feeds will appear, left mouse click on the FEEDS button below or the "X" on top right to hide and show the skin.

- SYSTEM UPTIME - shows the time elapsed from the start of the system, automatically translated changing language in the Options skin (General section).

- SHUTDOWN 2    - some little visual changes from the original, it's automatically translated changing language in the Options skin (General section).

- RECYCLER - mouse hover to show the number and size of deleted files, the little folder will display if it's empty or full, left mouse click to open the Recycle folder, right mouse click to directly empty
the bin (from drop-down menu, second voice from the top). It's automatically translated changing language in the Options skin (General section).
NOTE: if you manually delete or restore one or more files, but not all the files, the informations will not be updated, it's a known issue with Windows and at the moment there's no solution.

- CONNECTIONS - a window displaying a graphic representation of Wi-Fi signal strenght and upload/download in the last six minutes, left mouse click on the corresponding button below to hide and show the skin.
The maximum Upload/Download speed is settable in the Options skin (General section).

- SURVEILLANCE - a window displaying a graphic representation of Hard Disks read/write activity in the last six minutes. The number of disks displayed is automatically adjusted when the number of available
disks is changed in the Options skin, for the Time skin outer ring visualization (General section). When you change the number of disks, remember to refresh this skin in order to display the
graphics correctly. The read/write capacity in Mb/sec is optimized for standard Hard Disks, if you use SSD, you may experience some problems due to an higher transfer rate.
If you know how to do it, you can manually edit the "MaxDiskRW" variable in DiskStats_T.ini.

- TELEMETRY - a window displaying a graphic representation of CPU (total and single cores), RAM and SWAP usage in the last six minutes. For better interpretation, every graphic is hideable separately.
Depending on the number of CPU cores you have, you can choose from one, two, three, four, six and eight cores.

- SYSTEM TOOLS - six launchers to open Windows special folders: System, Devices and Printers, Network, Card Reader and external Memories, Performance and information Tools. It's automatically translated
changing language in the Options skin (General section). There's a specific version with similar functions for Windows XP users.

- SMALL LAUNCHERS 2 - five launchers for programs, files and/or folders, mouse hover will move down all the launchers under the selected, left mouse click to launch a program, customizable in the Options skin.
It's possible to hide/show the launchers with left mouse click on the little round button placed at the top of the launchers.

- SYSTEM MONITOR - reduced it will display the temperatures of CPU, motherboard, chipset and GPU (video card), in full view it will also show the temperature of Hard Disks, CPU and System fan speed.
It's possible to set alarms for overheating or fan failure (only visual, the corresponding meter is highlighted with a blinking red color). Left mouse click on the round button on top left
to show the full or reduced visualization, when reduced, if an alarm is on, except for the four shown, the button will blink with a red color.
This is the less customizable skin of the suite, since there may be endless hardware configurations, the only way is to manually edit it, sorry.
If you want to use this skin you need Speedfan. Every sensor number is editable in the Options skin (Other section). As I have experienced, only CPU and SYS fans sensors are always the same.
In full view, a peak level signal on the bars will indicate the maximum temperature or fan speed, green if below the alarm threshold, red if it's above, when you change visualization, from
full to reduced, reduced to full, all the peak levels are maintained and when you close or restart the skin, Rainmeter or the computer, it will remember the last configuration.
Depending on your units of measurement (Celsius or Fahrenheit), you have to set properly the temperature alarms, since now they're for Celsius.

- CPU (processor) - eight bars showing each core's usage and a simple round meter for the total CPU usage visualization. Mouse hover on "CPU" title to show a tooltip with other infos of CPU and Operative System.
Since not everyone has eight cores, you can load one of the skin variation for one, two, four (the default ones), six and eight cores (both new), except the last two, if you want the round
meter, you have to manually load it from the "CPU Graph" folder.
Left mouse click on CPU image to open Windows Task Manager.

- SYSTEM RESOURCES - a simple meter to display RAM, SWAP memory used (in percentual and size) plus battery status, graphically and numerically, for Laptop and UPS, it will show the battery status, if/or when used.
If there's no battery, no UPS or the UPS isn't controlled by OS (usually with a USB connection), "AC POWER" text will appear.

- WI-Fi - a simple meter to display signal intensity, upload, download, ID, band, protection status, graphically and numerically, as well as the total time of the Wi-Fi connection. If you don't use a
Wi-Fi connection, maybe a DSL or Network, only the Upload/Download section will work. Refresh the skin to reset the counter.
In the Options skin (General section) you can set the maximum Upload/Download speed and enable/disable the counter.
A peak level signal on the bars will indicate the maximum Upload/Download, mouse hover "Upl." and "Dnl." will show a tooltip with Max Upload and Download values in B, KB or MB/seconds.

- LARGE LAUNCHERS 7 - you can choose to display from six up to seven launchers, for programs, files and/or folders, mouse hover will move down all the launchers under the selected, left mouse click to launch,
customizable in the Options skin.
It's possible to hide/show the launchers with left mouse click on the little round button placed at the top left of the launchers.

- BORDER - if you want to use the border, you can load it from the corresponding folder, but, to keep memory usage low (after all it's as big as the screen and I have added another layer...) and to avoid
problems with mouse hover using skins with transparent parts, if you use a photo-retouching program like Photoshop or Gimp, one who can handle psd files and layers, you can load the file from
"@ Resources\Wallpapers" AVBackdrop.psd and a wallpaper of your choice, save and load the new image created as wallpaper.

I hope that at least there's someone still interested in this and who will find it somewhat useful, but don't expect a great technology "under the hood", I'm not Tony Stark (to stay on argument...)

Since I prefer to keep things simple, maybe boring, but simple, no LUA scripts and only some formulas when needed.

I had to solve most of the problems I encountered during my "distributable" conversion, just to make it "user friendly" and since I'm lazy, for me too, but I had to do it on my own, so, there will be better solutions and
doing it, I had to modify/rewrite some parts or entire skins... but now they're better.

I must admit that to think and write a skin not only for my personal use, has given me many headaches, thinking how others would use my skins in many different systems and with endless possible configurations, thinking
that not everyone knows exactly how to manage and edit the code and how to make the changes in a simple way.
So I have integrated almost everything in the "Options skin": the advantage is that you can edit all is needed in one place, the disadvantage is that all this integration could be a problem if you're using only a few skins.
There are other skins and additions I use that at this moment aren't really distributable, mostly because they're limited to some nations or Europe and I haven't found something similar for all the world, until now.

First of all, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

- In order to use this skin suite, you need at least Rainmeter 3.0.2 r2161 (October 2013) or above.

- This suite is intende ]]> <![CDATA[ d for use on Windows 7/8 or at least Vista, some skins may not work with previous OS, for example the Volume and Sys Launchers skins won't work in Windows XP, for the last one there's an alternative skin.
The text also is displayed differently if you're using Windows XP or Vista, since D2D font rendering is available only for Windows 7/8.

- This suite is optimized for Wi-Fi connection, expecially for Feeds and monitors, if you're not using a Wi-Fi connection some of the graphics and bars are disabled in WiFi and Connections skins.
If you're always connected, those skins are updated regularly (depending on the settings and the skin, every 20-30 minutes), if you're connected only for some time, those skins will retain the last informations downloaded,
until you're connected to the internet again. Refresh those skins to update or synchronize the download of the informations.

- If you are using other skins and you don't want to lose your configuration, save your actual Layout: -> Manage Rainmeter -> Layouts, give it a name and save.

- At the moment, this skin suite is optimized only for the dimension of 1920 x 1080, if you have another screen size, you have to manually position the skins, many of them are customizable, as the launchers,
you can change the number as needed in the Options skin.

- To avoid any unwanted movement of the skins using the mouse, after positioning them and as a general suggestion, make them not draggable and save your new Layout to restore all as was before any undesired movement.

- If you want to monitor the CPU, GPU and Disk temperature, the CPU and System fan speed (Sys Monitor skin) you need Speedfan here, but not all motherboards are supported,
please verify.

- Every skin is available in three colors, Orange, Red and Blue, use middle mouse button to change them.

- If you're connected to the internet during the skin setup, PLEASE CONFIGURE RSS FEEDS and WEATHER LOCATION AS LAST OPTIONS, for every modification there's a "Refresh" of the entire suite!
Every option need a refresh, they're many and you can be blocked or banned from the sites for the high number of request sent in a little time.
